A while back in January, I signed up for DietBet – this fantastic social dieting program where you can either choose to lose 4% of your body weight in a month, or 10% over the course of 6 months, and well – I did it!
Sure I had my super cheat days and still ate at all-you-can-eat buffets and enjoyed many a happy hour, but the program was really about changing my lifestyle. It taught me that I can wake up for work and knock out a workout before breakfast, crave vegetables during a meal, don’t need dessert after every dinner, and still be able to enjoy all the wonderful foods and activities NYC has to offer. Still a ways to go, but I’m super excited that I can fit back into my prom and Sweet 16 dress again!
